Ashley received her doctorate of physical therapy from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY in 2014. Ashley received a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Mercy College. Her experiences with her seven year history of treating patients include acute rehabilitation, pediatrics, orthopedics and the geriatric population. Ashley’s philosophy is to target not only the symptoms of each individual’s condition but to reach the problem at the source and to improve their quality of life.
Laura received her doctorate of physical therapy from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY in 2009. Laura received her Bachelor’s degree in health education from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 2006, where she was a student-athlete and was captain of the women’s basketball team. She enjoys treating and providing individual optimal care to all her patients, including athletes, weekend warriors, and the elderly. She has over ten years of experience in physical therapy and believes that patient education is most important.
Kevin Glassberg is a Licensed Occupational Therapist and is a graduate of Mercy College’s Master of Occupational Therapy. Kevin has experience in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, sub-acute, home care and sports rehabilitation. His treatment skills include manual treatment techniques, therapeutic exercises, neuro-reeducation, functional activities, use of modalities, patient education, home exercise program training, splinting and proper ergonomic training for the workplace. Kevin has considerable experience treating nerve disorders, fractures, sprains/strains, arthritis, tendonitis, cumulative trauma/repetitive strain disorders, joint replacements and special surgeries regarding the hand and upper extremity. Kevin is also LSTV-certified, which allows him to specifically treat patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
Sandy has been with Direct Physical Therapy since June 2022. She works at the front desk, answering phones, greeting patients and communicating with the therapist regarding patient information and status. Sandy coordinates patient intake, referrals, registration and scheduling. As a courtesy, she verifies patient insurance coverage and obtains pre-authorization if required. Sandy enjoys greeting patients and making everyone feel welcome.
